Explore Ottawa’s Museums and Art Galleries
Ottawa is home to many museums and art galleries that have become major staples within our city. Whatever you’re passionate about – be it Canadian history, nature, science, or animals – there is likely a museum that would be a perfect day trip for you!
Just a short drive away from our Juliana Apartments on Bronson, the Canadian Museum of Nature awaits. Perfect for those curious about animals, nature, and the environment – this museum features amazing exhibits about the earth’s natural history, where visitors can explore geology, anthropology, and even life-sized dinosaurs on display.
The museum provides evidence-based insights, inspiring experiences, and meaningful engagement with nature's past, present and future. It achieves this through scientific research, a 14.6 million specimen collection, education programs, signature and travelling exhibitions.

There are various ways to explore the water via boating adventures, whether you're an avid boat-lover or just looking for a relaxing tourist experience. Paul's Boat Line and Rideau Canal Cruises are two options for how you can experience Ottawa from a new perspective, taking you on a journey from the Château Laurier to Dow's Lake. Both tours take approximately an hour and a half to see Ottawa and Gatineau's beautiful city landscapes, rich history, and iconic landmarks!

Outdoor Adventures in Gatineau Park
Gatineau Park is popular and well-loved as the National Capital's conservation area and the largest green space in the region, featuring a variety of must-visit summer destinations. Whether you prefer to spend a day relaxing on the beach of Lac Phillipe or planning a more adventurous route through the Lusk Caves, this park has many scenic adventures with something for everyone to enjoy.
From June 25 to August 28, the NCC will be providing a free shuttle bus service on Saturdays and Sundays to the park's most popular destinations. Our residents at Riverton Park, Rockcliffe Arms, and the Juliana Apartments, are closest to the two centrally-located shuttle bus boarding stops at Wellington and Lyon and the Canadian Museum of History.

Celebrate Patio Season with Local Dining
With warm summer temperatures comes the opportunity to dine outside at many of our favourite restaurants. Both Ottawa and Gatineau have far too many beautiful patios and rooftop spots for us to list out here, so a big thank you to Ottawa Tourism, who covered them with an all-inclusive list of outdoor dining organized by neighbourhood. When it comes to outdoor dining in Gatineau, we recommend taking a look at this compilation created by Ottawa Resto. Whether you're feeling like Mexican, Chinese, or maybe something new, we couldn't be prouder of all the locally-owned and operated restaurants available – not to mention delicious!
