Now more than ever, we want to do our part to help support our local shops and businesses. With the holidays right around the corner, we put together a holiday gift guide with some of our favourite places, in hopes that this will inspire you to shop local this gift-giving season!
When you support local business, you are supporting family, friends and your fellow community members. As local businesses become more successful, more jobs become available further contributing to the livelihood of our economic communities.

When you purchase locally, small business owners start to see our community as a desirable place to continue growing their businesses. They may even open other shops or provide additional products. The more money that goes into local city funds from business tax dollars revitalize our neighbourhoods and bring more people to the city through tourism and travel. A small business can have a major impact on our society – and it’s up to us to help support them in return!
